Mel Four began as a children’s book designer before moving over to book covers for adults in 2012. She particularly enjoys illustrating, hand lettering and including handmade elements in her work. Mel is Design Director at Octopus books, looking after mono books (black and white insides) - mainly narrative non fiction. She does some children's book illustration book on the side.
